Emergency First Response Instructor (EFRI)
Being an Emergency First Response Instructor (EFRI) helps you retain
your students through their continuing education. Certified Divemasters,
AI and Instructors may enroll in an Emergency First Response Instructor
course. The
course duration is just one day and includes a buffet lunch. EFR
training is a prerequisite for many PADI courses. You are also
able to successfully market the EFR course to non-divers. This
course covers not only teaching EFR, but an interesting and useful
interactive teaching technique that can be applied to your other
courses.

Assistant
Instructor (AI)
Participating in the PADI Assistant Instructor course
is not only excellent preparation for an IDC but also makes you
a more employable Divemaster.
Upon successful
completion of all performance requirements a fully certified Assistant
Instructor is able to teach the academic portion of all PADI courses
as well as independently conducting the PADI Peak Performance
Buoyancy and Project AWARE Specialty courses, increasing both
your income and your overall dive experience.
With further training you
are also able to teach the Emergency First Responder and Equipment
Specialist courses. Scheduled over five days we teach you how
to plan, structure and present effective academic, confined water
and open water presentations.
We teach you how to control
groups of student divers and also look at valuable marketing techniques
associated with the PADI programs that you will be certified to
conduct upon certification.

Speciality
Instructor
Teaching specialties is an important way to develop your
skills away from standard instructor techniques. Many divers have
specified interests; deep-diving, navigation, photgraphy/videography
etc. Being able to guide divers in these varied fields is a way
to make you a cut above the rest!
